Dear Lakeshore Public School Families:
As a preventive measure, Lakeshore Public Schools is currently on lockdown. This decision was made in response to an external threat reported in the vicinity, and we are taking all necessary precautions to ensure the safety of our students and staff.
We are working closely with local law enforcement and will provide updates as more information becomes available. The safety and well-being of everyone in our district remain our top priority.
Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

Important Bus & Traffic Update
Please be aware of potential bus delays due to construction this week and next. Here are the key road closures:
Glenlord Rd. & Lincoln Ave Intersection: Closed for repaving on Thursday (10/24) & Friday (10/25).
Red Arrow Hwy: Closed this week through 10/30 at the Exit 23 overpass.
Glenlord Rd (Red Arrow Hwy to Ridge Rd): Only the westbound lane will be open for traffic to and from Stewart Elementary School, tentatively planned for 10/30 & 10/31.
Our Lakeshore drivers are doing an amazing job finding alternative routes to keep our students safe and on time. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we navigate these changes!

Preliminary bus routes have been posted on the transportation page. Please note these are the preliminary times and they may have changed from previous years. Final times will be posted before school starts.
